DIFFERENTIATED BRAIN DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME:
Brain Gym and Perceptual Motor Programs which are part of the CK Kids curriculum are based on the principle that moving with intention leads to optimal learning.
At CK Kids we utilize the Brain Gym and Perceptual Motor educational model to:
  • Activate the brain with specific movements to promote concentration while learning build body and spatial awareness.
  • Engage children in movement activities that integrate perception and movement.

It is a Learning enhancement system that draws out normally unavailable brain potential through simple movement based activities. Learning difficulties are experienced when there are only limited areas of brain activation available to a student. Brain Gym movements stimulate the whole brain for effective function and enables uninterrupted Brain-Body communication. This results in effortless learning and higher levels of performance.
Brain Gym exercises have different roles to play and are designed to help the children in all areas of learning, not only focussing on skills such as reading and writing but also thinking skills and self-awareness skills.

MONTESSORI METHOD FOR ACTIVITIES :
It has been discovered that the first six years of one's life is significant for the brain to develop fully. The brain continually develops and that adults and parents who provide the immediate environment of the child can do something to make this experience positive. Montessori is a constructivist model where students learn concepts from working with materials rather than by direct instruction with a freedom of movement within the classroom.

The three primary principles are observation, individual liberty and preparation of the environment. These principles and their various practical expressions with children are gradually becoming part of our educational system. Such current concepts as individualized learning and readiness programs, manipulative learning, team teaching are some of the concepts. It provides an environment for all of their academic, social and emotional needs. A Montessori environment does meet all of the above needs, but it also teaches children an 'I can do it' attitude that will ensure their future success in all aspects of their life.
GLENNDOMAN READING AND MATHEMATICAL TRAINING:
"YOUNG CHILDREN LOVE LEARNING MATH!"
Startling? But it is a fact. Years from birth to 6 years of age is very crucial and it is easier to teach a 1 year-old than a 7-year-old. By providing positive mental stimulation to your baby through Glenn Doman method, you can help strengthen the neural pathways that lay the foundation for his/her cognitive, emotional and social intelligence.

Glenn Doman was a physical therapist and a pioneer in the field of child brain development. He developed a unique method to teach math and literacy to children. According to the Doman method, Math and reading programmes are flash card based. At CK Kids Glenn Doman lessons are given two to three times per day.

Glenn Doman believed that children are too smart to be bored with individual letters, phonics and other methods. Over the years of working with children, he discovered a way to teach children to read in just 90 seconds a day by showing them large whole words a few times a day.

The Glenn Doman method at CK Kids is based around the following core beliefs:
  • Every child has a genius potential
  • Stimulation is the key to unlock a child's potential; The younger the child, the easier is the learning process
  • Children naturally love to learn; Teaching and learning should never involve testing.
HOWARD GARDNERS METHOD FOR MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE :
"It's not how smart your kid is. It's how your kid is smart."

Children have a unique blend of capabilities and skills (intelligences). They possess all seven intelligences in varying amounts. Each one has a different intellectual composition. While a person might be particularly strong in a specific area, such as musical intelligence, they most likely possess a range of abilities. These intelligences are located in different areas of the brain and can either work independently or together. This method can be used to understand the "overall personality, preferences and strengths". Addressing the multiple intelligences of our students helps to improve the following:

Linguistic intelligence: A sensitivity to the art of using words effectively
Logical-mathematical intelligence: ability in mathematics and other complex logical systems
Musical intelligence: the ability to understand and create music. Musicians, composers and dancers show a heightened musical intelligence.
Spatial intelligence: the ability to 'think in pictures', to perceive the visual world accurately, and recreate (or alter) it in the mind or on paper. Spatial intelligence is highly developed in artists, architects, designers and sculptors.
Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence: the ability to use one's body in a skilled way, for self-expression or towards a goal. Mimes, dancers, basketball players, and actors are among those who display bodily-kinesthetic intelligence.
Interpersonal intelligence: an ability to perceive and understand other individuals - their moods, desires and motivations. Political and religious leaders, skilled parents and teachers, and therapists use this intelligence.
Intrapersonal intelligence: an understanding of one's own emotions. Some novelists and or counsellors use their own experience to guide others. Then, Gardner identified an eighth intelligence, the naturalist intelligence - 'the human ability to solve problems or to make something that is valued in one or more cultures'.
MIND and BODY FITNESS-YOGA, BRAIN GYM, DANCING:
"Only a sound body keeps a sound mind"

Children carrying out specific brain Gym movements and other activities prior to a learning activity can improve stability and sensory motor coordination. In turn , these motor skills support ease of learning. The 26 Brain Gym activities are claimed to foster eye teaming, spatial and listening skills, hand-eye coordination, and whole-body flexibility, and so activate the brain for optimal storage and retrieval of information.

YOGA: Yoga helps children to see the beauty and light within themselves, thereby boosting their self-confidence, allowing them to feel more comfortable with their bodies, and helping them get in touch with who they are inside. A child who learns yoga and relaxation will be developing essential skills for a lifetime of health and wellness in mind, body and spirit.

Dancing: Dance will help to develop muscles, tone the body, improve circulation, improve posture, balance, and co-ordination and promote greater flexibility. Dance helps to keep the body conditioned and the mind focussed which heightens one's ability to perform other physical activities. Children who are involved in dance will excel in their academics and tend to be more creative. The art of dance helps to teach a child to focus, to Increase hand-eye coordination, improved fine motor skills, enhance creativity and discipline.
GADGET TRAINING COMPUTER /TAB OPERATION :
Understanding what skills and abilities they have and what they need to reach their dreams is an important component of your children's career development. Building their skill set and being able to talk about that skill set are key strategies for success in the 21st century workforce. So, a better gadget training helps in engaging the students in practical, real-world situations and develop in them the skills required for all-round progress in real life.
CRAWLERS :

The word "Learning" is synonymous with the word "Education"
Education begins at six while learning begins at birth.
To us,nothing is too easily.Let him/her be an early bird.
If your little angel is between 1.5 yrs and 2.5 years , then our floors are
blessed and waiting for her/him to crawl on it

TODDLERS:

"Tell me and I Forget'
Teach me and I Remember,
Involve me and I Learn"

Is your kid aged between 2.5 and 3.5 years?
Then, this is the perfect time to involve your kid in various activities as
they love to Explore ,Experiment and Enjoy.

JUNIOR KG :

"Education may be stressful to most children. On the contrary,
Learning is not, especially when presenred in a fun and loving way"

We stick to this and take care that they love and enjoy what they do.
A slanting "A" will sooner stand straight

The Ideal age is 3.5 yrs to 4.5 yrs.

SENIOR KG:

"Children need to be taught how to think and not what to think"

This we teach them how from 4.5 yrs to 5.5 yrs. Please hold us
responsible if they start teaching you at home what do to and how to
do. Truly ,we will be absolutely proud of it.
